My passion for music started when I was just a kid playing instruments such as guitar and saxophone. My parents would play their jukebox with Motown and Disco every weekend. My love of music grew as I got older to Spanish, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, House and many other genres. My interest in becoming a professional DJ started when I was 11. I tagged along with my cousin (fellow SM team member, Joel) to a New Year’s Eve party he was playing. I loved watching him work and read the crowd, it was truly an amazing experience. Seeing people dance and enjoy themselves was inspirational. My favorite part about being an open format DJ is bringing a diverse group of people together with my music selections.
At a young age I started a non profit organization called The Logan Square Youth Project which helps young kids learn Hip hop arts such as Djing, art, and breakdancing. I have been spinning almost 9 years now. I have djed all over Chicago--River North, Wrigley, Lincoln Park and more. I've been invited to spin in New York, Texas, Florida, and Kansas City. I'm excited to provide an unforgettable experience through my passion for music.
