Always a huge lover of music, Joel aka DJ Trilogy, was fortunate to grow up with parents and family who played the best in funk, soul, jazz, latin, etc. At an early age, he simply listened and appreciated the gift that was given. With that knowledge, becoming a DJ as a teenager gave him the opportunity to give back and train ears. Joel is an open format DJ, able to jump into any type of event and give his crowd a wildly memorable experience. Being a full time DJ for almost fifteen years now, Trilogy currently performs six nights a week at Chicago’s hottest spots. ”Coming from the era of lugging records through crowded venues makes me really appreciate the work I put in to be where am today.”, says Alba. Traveling has also been a great perk of the job, rocking sets in Texas, Florida, Mexico, North Carolina, Miami, P.R. Toronto Canada, Las Vegas, San Diego, and L.A. Trilogy has played parties for Pepsi, Boost, Coke, Don Julio, Hennessy, and Scion to name a few. With two decades of experience slaying dance floors, we couldn’t be happier to have him as a part of the Style Matters family.
