Rio Anderson (aka. Red Rum Rio) is a Chicago raised DJ/Producer who has never met a dance floor he couldn’t fill. Coming from a line of professional musicians, Rio developed his love for music at an early age. As a teenager, Rio started producing and writing his own music, often experimenting with sound.
In 2008, Rio began throwing and promoting his own parties as his brand “WTF: We’re The Future”. Wildly successful, his following grew, his “playlists” became more and more elaborate. Since then he’s packed dance floors all over Chicago and beyond with his signature sound weaving through multiple genres and styles seamlessly. His ability to convey his sensibilities through his mixes make him sublime; an artist with an infinite canvas. Rio is quickly becoming a staple in the Chicago DJ scene. He is also working on new production projects slated to be released soon.
