DJ/MUSIC SERVICES:
2008 & 2009 events = $200/hour
This rate applies to any time our DJs are playing recorded music and/or that you're using our equipment (for example: a wireless mic and speakers for the officiant during the ceremony). We don't charge for driving time within twenty-five miles from the city, nor are there any fees for set up and tear down time. Also, unlike other companies' habit of only guaranteeing one or two face-to-face meetings, we'll meet with you as many times as you see fit. Regarding overtime, we simply charge our normal hourly rate. Any additional amount you'd like to pay us for our efforts is entirely up to you. The pricing structure listed above applies for events up to 250 people. Larger scale parties will require more sound, and most likely, two DJs. When this is the case, our rate increases to $250/hour. There's a three hour minimum for DJ services, and no maximum.
LIVE CHAMBER MUSIC TRIO, “STRING THEORY”:
Ceremony = $300
Cocktail = $375
Ceremony + Cocktail = $600
Despite over fifty years of combined experience on our respective instruments, this rate is well below the industry standard and will most likely see a significant increase in 2009. Unfortunately, we have very limited availability due to Spencer's DJ bookings at other events. We do not offer solo violin or piano, and we charge extra (on a case by case basis) to learn material that's not in our current repertoire. We suggest you take a look at these options for possible ceremony ideas, and then we prefer clients to trust our judgement on appropriate music to play during the cocktail hour. Usually you will hear much more advanced, and lesser known, material at this time. There is a one hour minimum and three hour maximum.
MP3 OF THE EVENT:
$200
What this gets you is a mastered, untracked MP3 that will be presented on a single data disc approximately two weeks after your event. It will include everything from the contracted start time through the end of the night--cocktail hour, introductions, speeches, dinner/party music, etc.
